With recent forgeries, is it still better to restore ?

With recent infamous Universal forgeries, is it still better to restore ? For example, a valuable lobby card with minor defects like a slight minor scratch, is it better to have minor defects restored prior to selling or would most collectors prefer in original condition and take care of any defects themselves ?

Moving with posters

I'll be moving house soon, and not just any move - some 500 kilometers between two different cities. So I was wondering if anyone here has experience of moving a poster collection? Right now, I have most of it in a flat-file cabinet. I don't think it is a good idea to movie the cabinet with the posters inside (which some people have suggested) so I'd be happy for any ideas and suggestions!

Are these worth anythin?

I'm not sure what's going on with this Turin-based poster dealer, but getting a response out of them at present is like getting blood from a stone... I haven't ordered anything from them in around 18 months, way back when the super-friendly Nadia was still on the payroll - she would respond to poster queries promptly and helpfully, even going so far as to phrase her responses in English. Items would be shipped quickly once payment received, tracking numbers emailed...you know,...

Okay so here's the story, I've been collecting for a couple of years now. I'm not always a quality nut, but I am an authenticity nut. I am posting a picture of my DERANGED one sheet in hopes that I can get input from someone about the likelihood of it's authenticity (what the chances are that it may or may not be a repro.)

I also posted this on the Movie Poster Forum.

I just had my "This Is It!" listing pulled by eBay. I'd heard in the past Sony was problematic, but this is the first Sony poster I've had pulled.

I know Fox has had eBay shut down auction listings in the past (I've had two listings pulled in the past)

Someone else on the MPF said they had a This Is It poster pulled, too. Anyone else had problems?

Some time back ok quite a time back we used to do displays in our foyer, one I can remember was for
"GOLDFINGER" ..
Painting a shop dummy gold etc ,but we then cut up three Goldfinger posters to make up
the display.Of couse not that many people kept posters I did and always managed to keep one , Would like to hear from others who have cut up for promo's iconic posters .

Quite a few years back was screening a Woody Allen movie It was not on a platter system still on spools
film was i think 6 reels Before starting had spoken to customer going in he said he had seen this movie in a city theatre. and was having problems getting in to the story so came again for a second view.
what then happened is we started with reel 1 then 2 then some how went to 4 back to 3 then 5 and 6.
at the end of show asked person what they thought of the film .He said...
