reduced to a whimpering mass of raw emotion in the last 15 minutes of the film
Really really really great movie. Hoffman is just a genius me thinks.
Well done Eric...If you didn't keep harping on about the film not sure I would have seen it, which would really have been a shame.
My only gripe...WTF with the burning house?
Re Public Enemies...but it has Johnny Depp...it has to be fantabulous
Cool Ves, I found it to be a very interesting film, a film about nothing really, but yet about everything, Beginning with the newspaper article about Avian Flu (Pandemics), our society's obesesivness with our colons and colon cleanses.
paranoid hypochondriacs who are so afraid of dying they forget to live, it touched on mental illness and being in a fragmented state, , aging and the loss of friends
creative art snobs, who are devoid of emotion and peddle pooh-pooh
an almost apocolyptic horror film, which reminded me of the Masque of Red Death!
The burning house to me symbolised her, she burned for him and lived life unafraid, unafraid of dying, even though she eventually succombed to smoke inhalation.
What I like most about this film is that no 2 people will walk away from it feeling the same thing.
Bravo
and Thankyou Eric!
