Nice Stuff Simon! I also like the Hitch cameo card and have one my self tucked away. Must say the wall paper behind "Brief encounter" is very very cool! Thank you for that, dario.

I've always preferred The Vampire Lovers. The double-take that Ingrid Pitt does when she notices the garlic flowers is classic.

I dare say you have a thing for Mr. Hitchcock. Love the lobby with Hitch reading a paper aswell at the background.

I dunno, not particularly that fond of censorship anyway. And in that case, image was so graphically simple, they basically just replaced the nipple with a bigger one. That said, it is fun to see what they think is and isn't offensive.

add the 'satanic rites of dracula' to the above together with hammer's other output at about the same time: 'on the buses' 'mutiney on the buses' and 'holiday on the buses' and i think one could have a fearsome weekend viewing.

Yes, there's probably a thesis to be written on The Stoner Films of Hammer. I watched COUNTESS DRACULA the other day, one that had long eluded me, at least complete and in the right ratio. Peter Sasdy, a real might have been a fine director.

We watched VAMPIRE CIRCUS again. What a bizarre and entertaining film. I wonder what they were smoking when they wrote the script. Armin
