How confident are you about your measurements, Dave?

I have two (never used) that came from a theater in the Northwest US. They match the visual definition of yours, but I would say they are closer to 26 7/8 rather than 26 13/16 wide.

Considering the unusual dimensions of the Lucasfilm posters generally, I wonder how precise you can be. I haven't checked the length yet, but it's my understanding that they're also subject to variance.

At least 26 7/8 and 26 13/16 are a lot closer to each other than to 26 9/16 - which you identify as the width of the bootleg.

Sounds about right to me. Your descriptions and illustrations are very clear and helpful. The dimensions within that relatively narrow range at least offer a good clue, though we'd probably want to collect additional examples if possible. I wonder how many different ds bootlegs there are.
