Each measures 27x40 and is marked "IJ-MEDIA-052208" (which is the date for Crystal Skull's release). Each was reprinted with a quantity of 3200. More info at the starwars.com news blog Pete

The imputation was totally without basis in fact, and was in no way fair comment, and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you, or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future.

I can see in less than 3 years time these posters being sold linen backed with the insignia carefully removed as originals. Old and cynical, that's me. Thanks, Pete, - valuable info. (PS: Archie, I presume the possum is multi-orgasmic, or just into tantric sex?)

I'd gone to the Star Wars Shop to buy them so that they can be posted up on MPA for comparison with the originals, but they're not up for sale yet. If y'all are cynical about these reprints being passed off as originals one day soon, then I'm fatalistic about it ultimately happening. Thanks, Pete, for the heads up on these. Jeannie

HOWEVER, there will soon be some original Temple of Doom posters available that are indeed the real deal -- keep an eye out in the next couple weeks. And incidentally, I made a mistake in that blog posting -- I believe the original Temple of Doom and Last Crusade posters were 27x40, like these reprints, so the only way to distinguish them is a sharp eye (the print is a bit fuzzier on the reprints) and that "IJ-MEDIA" line at the bottom. The Raiders was originally 27x41, although this reprint is 27x40. Pete
