He also found a few for Big Trouble in Little China and The Warriors (5 of each available). The pics below are of the actual prints and give a more accurate color depiction than the jpegs. According to him, who I am inclined to believe, there are 250 regulars and 100 variants* for Blade Runner, 210 regulars and 65 variants for The Thing. *He notes that the variant is not glow in the dark, contrary to mondo reports... BTW, North By Northwest posters are still available direct from the artist as well... I do, I offer a complete and utter retraction. The imputation was totally without basis in fact, and was in no way fair comment, and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you, or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future.

I'm surprised to hear about people getting tubes with missing caps though; they're like a bleedin' fortress. I had to saw off the end of my tube cause the lids don't come off. Or maybe they do. Anyhow, can't say it wasn't well packed. At the moment I've stored this in a display sleeve, along with King Kong. Should they be OK like this? I notice the texture is quite rough. I had planned on putting blade runner in with them as well. I ended up buying five display sleeves and each has multiple posters in them, which I presume will be ok for the time being. All you have to do is cut the tape around the tube and the end cap should slide right off... I do, I offer a complete and utter retraction. Probably a third of what I have bought have an edge ding somewhere. They need to use shorter tubes so there is less room for movement and pack the ends instead of relying on that craft paper to absorb the impacts. Dale

I picked up the regular Blade Runner - looks better than the variant to my eyes. I'm still not crazy on the design, but I do find that these posters look much better in person, so looking forward to receiving! Tom

I also really like it, but in combo with The Thing the red version works better... There are 5 left of the regular Blade Runner. The other posters sold out in 10 minutes, except for the last Warriors, which sold a few minutes later for $90. I didn't get a chance to see what the sale prices were for the others, but I would guess that the Big Troubles and variants were similar to the Warriors. Like any other group of posters, some are better than others and the benefit of certain artistic styling comes down purely to a matter of personal taste, but I still find 2 or 3 a year that really work and are, usually, much better than the typical onesheet/quad/B2/one panel images. Now, you are not going to top the original Blade Runner, but I think that the examples above beat the stuffing out of Struzan's poster for The Final Cut... I wasn't a big fan of Tyler's work until he started to get into using actual colors. I do, I offer a complete and utter retraction.
