WOW Rick! Are those original releases for BOTH Great Escape and North by Northwest? The Great Escape sure seems to be as the other I have seen is just duotone.
I have only ever seen the rerelease for North by Northwest.
A huge congrats on a (likely) great deal regardless...very nice selection!

That monster from From Hell It Came is the sweetest tree-man you'll ever see. I love him.

Eric, I believe it has something to do with the litho process. You picked a classic to start your daybill collection
The Dr. Morgus is interesting...love the "Morgus the Magnificent" line...nice stuff

I haven't bought a lot lately, but this one I could not let go. I'm after this one for a while, but i've been outbid many times before. It's an
original thirties Dutch poster by Frans Mettes, a renowned Dutch artist who has done a lot of advertising art and I love everything about it. The colour, the
graphic design and this enormous appealing gorilla, just as in the movie! This is just a pic from the auction and still have to pick it up, but i just had to
post it from sheer excitement.

Eric,
I just bought that same A&C Meet J&H card ... always enjoyed Bud's reaction! I also got another card from the set showing the two monsters, Bud and Craig Stevens. Fun stuff. Steve |

Believe it or not but Morgus is still on the air here in little old New Orleans. They are rebroadcasting his shows from the 80's (I think, I aint native
to this area but he is still quite the cult figure). But the good Doctor is alive and kicking in real life, too.

While too well known to be pictured, I recently acquired the Belgian KISS OF THE VAMPIRE and US one sheet for Costa-Gavras's Z (one of my favourite films)
via Sean's eBay auctions.
Service, packaging, communication was first rate, considering the whole transaction took place while Cinevent was in progress. Thanks, Sean. Phil |

Some more lobby cards.
I think the Elvis cards are Australian, based on the G rating. I've never seen cards from this movie before so was happy to grab them
