Yup...Rich hit the nail on the head. All silkscreened except Children's Week.
My aim this week is to incorporate bargainised into as many conversations as I can...I'll keep you posted |

They all vary...biggest are the Children's Week and Holiday Wear ones...around the daybill size of 13-14"x30"...the others are all smaller.
I need more wall space in my house ! |

Used to be a shop on the Gold Coast years ago that sold daybills. They were back to back in double sided frames and suspended from the ceiling.
Aimed at the coach loads of Japanese tourists back then, the prices were in the hundreds for what would be still a $10 or $20 daybill. I think he went out of business. |

A new one for my collection, the Czech poster for GAMERA VS. GAOS.
Although I am usually not a fan of Eastern European movie poster artwork, I really like this one.

cinemarts wrote:Many of the EE posters from the Soviet era have very little to do with the actual content of the corresponding film. I understand that they were done by artists who otherwise had very limited opportunities to express themselves. For me however, a poster is a piece of advertising for a movie and it should sell it as hard as possible. I guess that's why I like Japanese movie posters as they are so explicit.
